Writing for Profit

The longer I write for profit the more I learn.  I quit writing for Zemandi.com because they simply did not pay enough.  They promoted me to a level 4 and gave me some difficult assignments which they expected to be completed in 8 hours.  The pay however, remained at 1/2 cent per word.  Support at Zemandi.com is the best in the business.  The support staff says they are well treated by the company and they do seem to be a happy personnel.  They were good to me and I learned how to ghost write for profit from their patient tutoring.  I highly recommend this site to someone who is just starting on the road to ghostwriting content for clients.

Later I found Textbroker.com and really enjoyed working for them.  They also have a fantastic support staff.  Instead of receiving assignments without being able to see what is available as on Zemandi.com.  Textbroker.com lets you see the entire list that is available for your rank.  When you sign up with them you are asked to write a short article on one of three subjects.  My sister and I signed up at the same time.  She was ranked at a level 4 and I was ranked at a level 3.  This meant that she was able to choose from more assignments and receive pay at at 1 1/2 cent per word.  I was paid at 1 cent per word.

Currently, my favorite site is eCopywriter.com.  I am ranked at a level 2 and I receive 2 cents per word.  It took a long time to figure out how to contact support but they are very good at responding when you send a message through the assignment.  They will not respond if you call and leave a voice mail.  Nor will they respond if you send an email to the support email address given on the site.  They don't have work as frequently as the other sites, but the instructions are clear.

Both Textbroker.com and eCopywriter.com require that content be written in AP Style.  Support at Textbroker.com told me to purchase a book from Amazon.com to learn about AP Style.  eCopywriter.com gives you a link to a series of articles on Suite.101 about how to write AP Style content.
